Fatty acid binding protein 4, adipocyte RNA [primary]

Primary Reference(s):

Fatty acid binding protein 4, adipocyte RNA

Experiment Id: 28840

Pattern Id: GC28841

Clone number:

GenBank Acc: AA128249

Rationale: RNA levels for over 12,000 probe sets were measured, in triplicate, in a microarray experiment utilizing Affymetrix Human Genome U95Av2 arrays. Many of these probe sets can be linked to known genes (based on clustering information from UniGene) - follow the links to UniGene and GeneCards, where information on possible function can be found. Other probe sets represent as yet unnamed genes - follow the Unigene link for more information. All gene assignments should be considered tentative. Sequence information for a probe set can be found through GenBank or UniGene.

Investigator(s):

Lavedan, Dr. Christian

Novartis Pharmaceuticals

Method: Microarray

Unit: RNA levels

Protocol: Cells were grown in RPMI 1640 + 5 % FBS + 2 mM L glutamine, harvested in late log phase, and total RNA isolated using the Qiagen RNeasy Midi Kit. Affymetrix U95Av2 GeneChips were used for quantitation.
